How the lines are measured
USA Pickleball measures the court to the outside edge of the perimeter and non-volley zone lines, and every line should be 2 in (5.08 cm) wide. So the 2 in sidelines and baselines sit inside the 20 ft by 44 ft rectangle, and each non-volley zone line sits inside its 7 ft zone, which it is part of. The centerline runs from the non-volley zone line to the baseline and splits each end into two 15 ft by 10 ft service courts. The net posts stand 22 ft apart, inside to inside, so each post is 1 ft outside its sideline.
